ANNUAL PRODUCTION
It's always a pleasure to help a school that is excited and organised about their school production. It's not often that we get to work with such professional attitudes as we do when we work with the International School of Hout Bay! Everyone gets involved in an area that they enjoy and they graft well as a team. We've assisted many schools with the Hairspray production and every one is different.
The casts vary in size, the auditorium ranges from theatres to empty halls, the lighting requirements are dynamically challenging, the budgets unique and the technical knowledge manifold. Our team takes the time to understand each school's needs and works quickly to meet (and hopefully exceed!) their expectations.
With the International School of Hout Bay we had a very tight turn around: early setup, sound checks and rehearsals throughout the day, FDR the next morning with the first show starting that evening. Working with such short schedules requires our team to be flexible and our gear needs to be in excellent condition.
We also work with our customers to help them understand the technical requirements and processes in getting their productions to the point that they have envisioned. We love our work!
Soundworks Music Store provided the sound and lighting hire for this school stage-production. We were assisted in the lighting setup and operation by Gavin and his team from GNT Productions.
